Waves...waves...waves

Sure is nice that there's been some surf already this Fall...waves on the brain...saltwater lobotomy...

I've seen, surfed, and photographed heaps of swells since the 70's...here are a few select waves...

These shots might put the size in perspective...but, maybe not the power...
H20 is 8lbs/gal...lots of gallons on these waves...I've experienced two wave hold downs with my 9'2" rhino chaser tomb stoning...having to climb the leash only to get a big gulp of foamball...yummy!...;-)
