PERFORMANCE:
Robby Naish and the R&D group ride Naish production wave boards every day, and our team uses them exclusively in competition. For 2009 we offer a completely new range of Waveboards from 62 to 85 litres, entirely dedicated to maximum Wave sailing performance. Easy to ride yet with unlimited potential, these are the best performing production Wave boards on the market.
What's new:
Rocker Line: we have evolved our proven rockerline style to facilitate turns and redirection no matter where you are on the wave or flat section. The new rocker allows you to surf more vertically without loosing any speed in your turns, while the shorter flat section improves control at high speeds down the line.
Step Rail Shape:
The new Naish Wave boards feature a step rail which decreases volume in the outer rail. This delivers better grip in the turns and a looser feel combined with outstanding control while maintaining a flat center deck section for increased stability.
Thinner Tail Section:
A new pinched tail design permits a faster and more explosive release in the top turn as the tail slices the water. The thinner rails in that critical board section require less pressure on the tail, and deliver an effortless, smooth ride.
Improved Construction:
The best possible wave board layup, with full carNaish wave boards feature the best possible wave board layup, with full carbon kevlar decks for maximum impact resistance and the right stiffness balance. The bottom utilizes a newly developed biaxial glass layup which supports the carbon kevlar deck in terms of ultimate strength without compromising the flex characteristic that is critical to making a board comfortable rather than nervous and hard. All stress areas - stance area, rails and nose - have added impact support
All Naish boards are sold with bag.
